Issue: TylerERP now requires you to use wildcard characters to successfully find a vendor.
(Yes, we know this is a silly added step and we are trying t get them to change it but for now here are instructions for how to get what you need)
Solution:
When you are presented with the Vendor Help screen, surround your search term with asterisks. For example, if you type in the word "Bend" you will get an error that looks like this:
Instead, type in the word Bend with the asterisk after it. This will find anything that starts with the letters "bend":
Here's what the results of that search will look like:
If you need to see a list of vendors with the letters "bend" anywhere in the name simply use an asterisk before AND after the letters: *bend*
This will return a list that looks like this:
